Sir Robert Geffery's Preschool functions as an integral part of Sir Robert Geffery's CofE Primary School, located in Landrake, Cornwall. The preschool provides an early learning environment for children, preparing them for their eventual transition to primary school.
Welcoming children who will be turning five between September and August of the academic year they are to start, the preschool offers a smooth admissions process. Parents are encouraged to visit the school to experience its setting and discuss any queries they may have.
The preschool is dedicated to ensuring a seamless integration for each child into the school community, offering supportive parent and child meetings with the Reception teacher, as well as half-day taster sessions during the summer term prior to their official start. The school embraces a philosophy of nurturing enthusiastic learners and aims to help every child achieve their full potential, grounded in Christian values.
It also highlights a connection to St Michael’s Church and engages in community initiatives, including supporting Hillside School in Uganda.

Inclusion & environment
Children learn how to balance by standing on balance boards and rocking from side to side. They strengthen their upper body muscles by lifting and carrying containers with varied weights around the garden, persevering even if they fall off.

Sir Robert Geffery's Preschool registered in 1992 and is situated on the site of Sir Robert Geffery's Primary School, in the village of Landrake, Cornwall. A voluntary committee manages the setting. The pre-school opens weekdays during term time from 7.15am to 5.30pm. The pre-school offers free early education to children aged two, three and four years. There are seven members of staff. Of these, five hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 3 and one is working towards level 3. The manager has early years professional status.
