Our ethos
Here at Snaps Day Nursery, we believe that a childcare setting is only as good as the staff that work there and because of this we have very high standards and expectations when it comes to our employees. We employ our staff for their genuine warmth and love of working with children, and every employee holds an up-to-date DBS Check and childcare qualification at Level 3 or working towards a Level 3. We regularly update our staff training and renew our Paediatric First Aid and Fire training every 3 years. We like to think that we treat our staff well and as a result have a very low turnover of staff. This in turn means that we have consistently good standards of teaching and care, which enables the children to develop good relationships with adults and enriches their development and education. We pride ourselves on having excellent Parent Partnerships, and we welcome and value any feedback received from the children’s families.

SEND provision
The special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) provides targeted support for those children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. She plans and reviews children's personal goals to ensure that they are receiving the right help. The SENCO provides staff with the necessary information that they need to help children to make good progress. Staff at the nursery work very well with other professionals and share information about children's needs.
Outdoor space
Children have regular opportunities for physical exercise. Children enjoy reading outside. The manager and inspector completed a learning walk of the nursery inside and outside.
EAL / language support
Staff well support children who speak English as an additional language. They liaise with parents and learn words in their home language to help children to develop a good understanding of English. Staff monitor children's language development and assess their progress carefully. Children are beginning to develop their use of English to speak to others.

This nursery is the best in town , i went there at my lowest moment and they accepted my son , the teachers welcomed my son with a lovely smile . I initially was afraid my son will not settle in , they were positive about his settling phase and made my son love nursery . He loves going to the nursery, he loves his teachers so much . They do really good job at snaps day nursery. They also give parents updates about the child . Which means they really look after the children. Honestly, i cannot fault them, they are the best and my child loves them so much .

Excellent early years provision with dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Both of my sons have attended Snaps over the years. The staff are welcoming and always have a smile on their face when they are greeting the children on arrival. They provide a mix of activities through play as well as structured activities, which all children can enjoy. I would definitely recommend Snaps!

If your child is unhappy about going to the nursery, you should consider changing the place immediately. We ended up forcing our 3 year old for about a year before we relocated to another location where we realized that the quality of the environment and the staff plays a vital role in the happiness of your little one. At the new location, we never had a day where we had to bring her back from the nursery or where she would throw in tantrums before reaching there.

Two of my children attended Snaps at different times, I was more than happy with their level of education and the friendliness of the staff, my children left Snaps confident and equipped with the skills needed to transition to school.

Don't invite you to see the nursery, don't tell you their names, dont do transitions, don't add you to tapestry, don't tell you important information, don't know what the other staff members are doing. All you can hear are crying children as they are ripped away from their parents Don't send your children here, awful.
