Inclusion & environment
Children are physically active indoors and outdoors. For example, they explore the large icy garden and work as a team to collect and count frozen sticks. Older children demonstrate high levels of resilience and teamwork when they experiment with different tools to discover which will break ice. Children excitedly jump up and down as they walk to the garden. Children have opportunities to ride on scooters and to safely navigate around other children. They balance on stepping stones and use their imagination as they play together in the play house.
This nursery have been a god send for us! They are wonderful with the children, my daughter has been attending since 3 months old. The staff always tried to get her involved in activities, even when she was tiny and she wasn't really participating. They went above and beyond on so many occasions. They take the kids out for day trips to the local shops, library and soft play. They get them out In the fresh air and do themed activity days for them. Honestly I'm really sad we are leaving due to a relocation, but even with uncertainty of a house move, all the staff have been so understanding. I can't recommend them highly enough and will miss everyone!
Read on GoogleMy son has been here for 2 years. The staff are nice and are very aware of important matters like security. They vary activities from day to day and there is often some kind of special event like sports day or a trip to Chatsworth. There is plenty of parking. The communication with parents is good. The online system where photos and observations are posted is a great idea. A huge plus for this nursery is the enormous and well equipped outdoor play area and the fact that the staff aim to get the children outside at least once a day, rain or shine and often more than once. Even if the children are in their wellies and wrapped up from head to toe; they still strive to get them that fresh air. If they can't get outside because of particularly bad weather, they have other rooms to go into so the children aren't stuck in the same room all day. My son is happy; he has developed bonds with staff and other children and is developing well. Can't ask for more really.
Read on GoogleGreat staff, great with the children really can't fault any of the interactions. Just wish they would sort out getting invoices out properly and with proper breakdowns for charges. The administration side of this place is a huge let down and needs some serious improvement.
Read on GoogleMy youngest has been going here for well over a year and just broken up for the summer holidays, the bumblebee room staff have been great especially as my son is a quiet shy child they have really helped bring him on ready for school in September, a lovely friendly atmosphere
