Rated 'Good' by Ofsted on March 29, 2023, the nursery ensures children feel safe and secure, fostering good relationships with staff.
The curriculum focuses on encouraging children's curiosity and decision-making. Toddlers engage in early writing skills outdoors by using chalks, while older children explore scientific concepts like making handprints when hands are wet.
A strong emphasis is placed on developing speech and language, with staff using specific vocabulary during activities like observing caterpillars and their cocoons. The nursery effectively supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) using tools such as picture cue cards to help children communicate their choices.
The manager has significantly improved the provision since the last inspection, and staff act as positive role models, promoting emotional well-being and self-esteem. They maintain constant communication with parents to support learning at home and ensure children make good progress in their development and confidence.
