Tiddly Winks Nursery in Redhill provides an 'outstanding' rated environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years, operating 51 weeks a year from 8 am to 6 pm. 5-3 years), and Willows (3-5 years), with flexible transitions based on individual child development.
The curriculum is designed to support each child's developmental milestones, incorporating their unique character and interests through a play-based approach that balances adult and child-led learning. A strong emphasis is placed on highly qualified and passionate staff, dedicated to ongoing professional development and prioritising wellbeing, resulting in excellent retention rates.
The nursery fosters a robust parent partnership, offering a key person system, flexible settling-in periods, regular updates, and parent evenings to ensure open communication and collaboration. Tiddly Winks also actively supports various cost-saving schemes to make childcare accessible for families, including government-funded hours and Tax-Free Childcare.
Our ethos
Tiddly Winks Nursery offers a play-based curriculum, incorporating a balance of both adult and child-led learning intentions which are derived by the relationship each child has with their allocated ‘key person'. This is used to create an individualised plan for each child, taking into account their learning needs, time for independent exploration, interests and experiences that are happening in the world around them as well as each child's characteristics of effective learning. At Tiddly Winks, they value the importance of parents/carers as children's primary care-givers, and their role as a secondary caregiver, aiming to create strong bonds with both the children and their parents throughout their journey at Tiddly Winks.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders have incredibly high aspirations for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They identify needs swiftly, involving professionals, and staff follow their advice immediately, implementing it in each room for consistency. Children with SEND are fully included and make the best possible progress.
Children now play with limited interruption, transitioning to outdoor play and enjoying sociable lunchtimes in small groups with their key person.
On my daughter's final day, I thought I should leave a review to say thanks. It's been the most lovely and caring place to send her to, and we've seen her grow in so many ways through the interactions she had there. Absolutely the best staff and a lovely location, and couldn't recommend it more!

Staff there really go extra mile to accommodate parents' and children's needs. Nothing is ever too much of a problem and they work with you to ensure that child's wellbeing is number one priority. Opening hours are extended (from 7.30am-6.30pm) which really helps if you're a working parent. I would definitely recommend Tiddly Winks to any parent.
