Yesodey Hatorah School is a voluntary-aided Charedi Orthodox Jewish secondary school for girls, located in Stamford Hill, London. Serving the Jewish communities of Stamford Hill and surrounding areas, the school is guided by the Rabbinate of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations.

The institution is committed to fostering Charedi Jewish identity while promoting academic, personal, and social development. The curriculum integrates Torah principles with the National Curriculum, aiming to cultivate thinking, self-discipline, creativity, and moral understanding.

Pupils are encouraged to adhere to Torah observance, reflecting the "three pillars of Judaism": Torah, Prayer, and Acts of Loving Kindness. Our ethos

Yesodey Hatorah School exists to meet the needs of the Charedi Jewish families in Stamford Hill, an area that is home to the biggest Orthodox Jewish community in Europe. The Charedi community makes up about 10% of Hackney's population and is growing at about 5% per annum. It is distinguished by its stringent adherence to and practice of Charedi Judaism. The school is guided by the authority of the Rabbinate of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations. Keeping a constant focus on excellence, opportunity and on our Charedi identity ensures that Torah values and an ethos of achievement are nurtured in the school's everyday life and routines. Each pupil is expected to adhere to Torah observance and reflect the ''three pillars of Judaism'', Torah, Prayer and Acts of Loving Kindness in their work. What it's like

Staff have very close and caring relationships with children in this warm and nurturing nursery, creating a family atmosphere where each child is known and valued. They have high expectations and manage behaviour positively, with all children making good progress through a challenging curriculum involving stimulating experiences.
