Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff work closely with other professionals and parents to help to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This helps to identify and close gaps in children's development in a timely manner.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing outside. Staff organise group games to help to support children's social and physical skills and provide lots of opportunities for them to explore sensory and messy play. For example, children combine sand and sawdust, and use their fingers to create patterns and marks.

We can't be happier with this nursery - such caring, friendly and welcoming personnel. Key worker updates parents on how the day went and suggests the best development rotes to fit child's interests. I am always sure my girl is left in safe environment and good hands and will have lot of fun! She settled very quickly and loves coming in ever since. I highly recommend!!!

I chose this nursery for my daughter because I was attracted to the quiet setting (what’s more quiet than a graveyard? 😅) and the promise that they would regularly take her on outings. She’s been attending since September and I haven’t been disappointed. On the third day she was happy to walk in by herself when I was expecting weeks of tears and tantrums; a testament to how comfortable she is there. I get regular updates with what she gets up to with photos and small reports. They always answer the phone and are accommodating when you want a change in hours. Reasonable hourly rate. This nursery will suit you most if you’re quite flexible with your required childcare hours as outings can be arranged last minute. You also have to have a small amount of money set aside to fund these trips. My daughter has gotten up to so much already since we moved here so I’m confident I chose the right nursery for her. As a parent it’s not always possible to take your child out as often as you’d like so it’s reassuring to know they’re getting opportunities like this from a very early age.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this nursery. The way the manager spoke about my child was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. My child’s behaviour was described as “abhorrent” and “disgusting,” and I was told they had “no empathy.” I was also told that the problem lay with me as a parent. This language was not only unprofessional, but also lacked any compassion or understanding. There was no meaningful support offered for my child, despite clear additional needs, and I felt there was no willingness to work with us to find solutions. Instead of guidance or reassurance, I was left feeling blamed and judged. A nursery should be a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children and their families. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage improvements in staff training, especially around communication and supporting children with additional needs.
