About this day nursery

Bright Horizons operates a network of approximately 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering childcare solutions to support working families. Their approach, known as "The Nurture Approach," integrates learning and emotional well-being to foster healthy and happy development in children.

The nurseries focus on providing inspiring learning experiences and a joyful childhood within a secure and caring environment. They emphasize the importance of dedicated and skilled practitioners in supporting children through a curriculum that builds practical and life skills.

Bright Horizons also offers comprehensive support for families, including guidance on childcare funding options, resources for school readiness, and flexible settling-in sessions designed to ease a child's transition into nursery life. These non-chargeable settling-in sessions can commence up to six weeks before a child's official start date, allowing both children and parents to become comfortable with the new environment and build relationships with staff.

Each child is assigned a Key Person to ensure emotional safety and a strong attachment, which is crucial for a child's exploration, learning, and overall development.

We are very happy with the nursery and the process of settling in for our daughter. Given the multiple food allergies our daughter has we were apprehensive about starting day care for her but BH-Canada Square have been absolutely wonderful in making sure our little girl is well looked after. She seems to be really happy and enjoying herself. They are very clean and organised. Also the nursery has the provision to park for 15 minutes for pick up and drop offs which we find very convenient.

The organisation is very well managed and all the staff excellent professionals. We are very happy with the progress our little one is making while attending this nursery and how much he likes the people, and the food! They also received Outstanding rating from Ofsted, and demonstrate how they incorporate feedback regularly.

This nursery has responded amazingly well since reopening in July due to Coronavirus. Our son, now in pre-school here, loves going. We haven’t been able to go into the nursery anymore like we used to but the staff have done everything they can to make us feel engaged and welcome. We’ve been coming here for over seven years with our children and love it

Our little one was not easy to settle at the start of her journey and now she's so happy among her peers. I'm confident to say that the team of BH Canada Square is very professional, genuinely cares about kids wellbeing and creates nurturing atmosphere. I love all the activities that are organised for kids development and happy to see my daughter's progress. Thank you so much!
