Inclusion & environment
The manager has a clear intent for staff to provide all children with an ambitious curriculum, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The special educational needs coordinator has a good understanding of her role and responsibilities. She works well in partnership with parents, staff and other professionals to create and use individual learning plans for children with SEND and reduce gaps in their development.
Staff respond to children's great enjoyment of playing outdoors throughout the day, providing them with a wide range of activities and an exciting outdoor learning environment. Staff support children's physical development and enjoyment of learning outdoors very well, teaching them to balance on planks of wood and old car tyres.
We have always been so impressed with the quality of care provided for our two children. We know that they are very well looked after and are provided with a range of exciting learning opportunities. The staff quickly build relationships with children, and their families, and always strive to ensure they are meeting all their needs. They have endless enthusiasm and are always so positive and smiley. I never have any hesitation leaving our children in their care. The nursery is organised and very well run. We will really miss it when our children eventually move onto school.
