Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is extremely knowledgeable about the children who attend and require additional support. The SENCo works closely with each child's key person as well as parents and other professionals. Staff provide targeted interventions to meet children's development needs. They recognise when children may become overwhelmed and make good use of the sensory room resources to support children's emotional well-being.
Children have daily opportunities to develop their physical skills. Babies access a carefully planned environment where they can safely crawl, cruise furniture and move their whole bodies. Older children freely access the outdoors, where they pedal bicycles and practise their balancing skills.
Busy bees is an amazing nursery that I cannot reccomend highly enough. My daughter has come along both socially and emotionally but also educationally since she started. She was quite introverted when she started now she is a happy and confident girl. The staff are passionate, warm, calm, caring and happy and this is reflected in everything they do for the children and their familys. A bit shout out to Steph who has worked exceptionally hard with our daughter.

What can I say. What an amazing nursery. Our little boy went here and has now started school. His little sister now goes to Busy Bees and has really come on massively. She was very timid before and has really come out of her shell. And her speech is incredible. The building is beautiful and so clean. The staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to make sure your children are looked after and are happy. And don’t make you feel a pain when you ring to make sure little one is ok. Would highly recommend here. Thankyou. X

I absolutely love Busy Bees Nursery, from the moment I stepped into the nursery setting when my little boy was 8 months old it felt welcoming and homely. They had a massive refurb in 2022 including all the lovely calm decor and natural objects for learning. My little boy is happy, has great connections with the staff and has learnt so many new skills, speech and mannerisms all with the help of Busy Bees. As a primary school teacher myself I can see the connections between starting starting school and how Busy Bees Eastbourne is already preparing my little boy for his future. I love being able to see his development journey tracked on on the parent zone app and keep up to date with his naps and how much he’s eating. Busy Bees Eastbourne work hard to make sure the children have a variety of learning opportunities, build great relationships with the children and parents, and keep us up to date with parents evenings too. My husband and I love it!

Both of my boys have been cared for at busy bees and I couldn’t ask for more. The staff always go above and beyond to accommodate extra sessions and are there with any help that you may need. I feel so connected with the staff and this is super important to me, whilst I am working, I need not worry because I know they’re in safe hands. The parent app is a huge hit for me as when they’re babies they can not communicate how their day has been, we are told what they eat, what they have done and how well they’ve slept. I recommend to all and can’t thank them enough for their support in helping me raise my sons.

This is such a good nursery, my daughter loves attending, which is great peace of mind for me. Her carers have really helped shape her into an amazing bright little girl. Routine and activities are great!!!
