About this day nursery

Educare Nursery, situated near Beverley town centre, has been delivering exceptional childcare for over 25 years. Founded by David Whincup with a vision for affordable excellence, the nursery operates on traditional family values, ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable atmosphere for all children.

Catering to infants through preschool-aged children, Educare also extends its services to an Out of School and Holiday Club. The nursery is dedicated to fostering a positive environment where children, families, and staff can thrive collectively.

With various rooms tailored to different age groups, from the Daffodil Room for babies to the Bluebell Room for 3-5 year olds and the Rose Room for school preparation, Educare provides age-appropriate resources and equipment to aid children's development. An Educare Garden offers additional space for outdoor adventures.

Children enjoy their time at Educare Nursery. Child-led play is balanced with adult-led activities, fostering a love of reading and an understanding of their community through trips. Children develop an understanding of their bodies and demonstrate positive behaviour, learning to manage their emotions and personal care.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff provide good levels of support for children who have special education needs and/or disabilities. They promote their language development by singing, reading, and repeating sounds children make. Staff use facial expressions and physical gestures to help children communicate and introduce sign language during daily routines. They also use objects of reference to support children's understanding of routines.

Outdoor space

Leaders improved the outdoor area to give children better access and found that children accessed the equipment and used the outdoor areas more. Children learn to ride bicycles and use stepping stones to develop core strength and balance. Children also develop their mathematical knowledge during outdoor play.

The best nursery in Beverley by far, my nephew comes here and absolutely loves the staff, nothing is too much hassle for them, he’s been so happy here, going to school in September but I think I’ll miss coming to this place more than he will! Thank you for everything you have done for jax!!

Cannot recommend this place any higher. Two of my children attended Educare and they loved every minute. Not for a second do I regret our choice to trust Educare with our Children. Fantastic team!
