Little Gruffalos Pre-School is a friendly and established nursery located within the Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre in Beverley. The pre-school prides itself on providing a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop.

They have a strong team of well-qualified staff dedicated to ensuring every child receives excellent care. The pre-school follows the Department for Children, Schools and Families Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Headed by manager Alison Smith, a Level 3 practitioner with extensive childcare experience, and supported by deputy manager Angie Hant, Little Gruffalos is registered with Ofsted (EY560095). The pre-school is committed to continuously improving and updating its policies and procedures, involving trustees, staff, and parents in the review process to maintain high standards.

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress from their individual starting points. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

Children are reminded how to keep themselves safe, both within the environment and outside. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
