Creative Writing - 11+ I am so lucky to have found Shaista, as she has made a massive difference to my daughter’s learning. She now loves creative writing, which is a key element of the 11+ exam. My daughter’s written work has improved immensely thanks to Shaista’s lessons. Her teacher at school has commented on this during parents evening. Thank you so much Shaista for making the lessons so interesting and interactive. May Allah bless you always and reward you immensely for all the hard work you put into your lessons

My son has been with Empowered Tuition for approximately 5 months. We chose the tuition centre based on good reviews, with particular focus on creative writing. As we wanted to prepare him for his 11 plus entrance test we decided to seek support via this tuition service. We definitely weren’t disappointed. In such a short space of time he is able to deliver independent work of a high standard, not only that, he has grown in confidence in both his skills and ability. He has been taught writing techniques which make it easy for him to focus on the quality of writing rather than throwing ideas on a page, his short stories are a delight to read. A very big thank you to his tutor, Shaista, who has made the lessons both engaging and fun.

We are so grateful for all the support you’ve given Ibrahim. Since starting creative writing lessons with you, we’ve seen such a positive change not only in his writing skills but also in his confidence. Ibrahim genuinely looks forward to his lessons each week and always comes away feeling proud of what he has achieved. You have such a calm, encouraging and nurturing teaching style, which really brings out the best in him. His imagination has flourished, his vocabulary has expanded, and his sentence structure and descriptive writing have improved so much. The progress in his creative writing has honestly been amazing. I just want to say a very big thank you to Shaista, My Ayat-Noor has been coming for a couple of months now learning both English and Maths, she initially needed a lot of support, alhamdulilah with your help she has shown soo much improvement, and learned so much. I think Shaista is a very good teacher caters to Ayat-Noors needs, she doesn't just have the kids and send them home, without us knowing what they have done. I receive weekly updates of her work sheets, what she has done an achieved in her lesson, very happy overall.

We are absolutely delighted with the progress our son has made. Both his creative writing and comprehension skills have improved considerably and he is now far more confident with his 11+ work. This is particularly impressive as he struggled to make progress with his previous tutor. Since starting these sessions, his confidence and enjoyment of learning have grown significantly. We would highly recommend this tutor.
