In their latest Ofsted inspection on 18th June 2024, Enchanting Childcare received a "Good" overall rating. The friendly staff prioritise a welcoming environment, helping children to settle in easily.

The curriculum places a strong emphasis on communication and language development, with staff modelling language and introducing new vocabulary to encourage children to express their interests. For children who speak English as an additional language, leaders and staff closely monitor their progress and provide targeted support.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children who have delays in their learning or special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have good support in place to promote their learning further. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children work together to make 'mud cakes' in the garden. Children enjoy being outside playing with their friends and staff skilfully involve children in games to build on their physical skills. They eagerly climb the equipment and race their friends around the garden on the bicycles.

EAL / language support

Leaders and staff recognise that some children who speak English as an additional language need more support with developing their language and communication skills. They closely monitor children's language development and check their understanding to provide more targeted support.
