Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported to make progress in their learning and development effectively. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works closely in partnership with parents and external agencies to ensure that support is consistent for children. For example, they use visual cues and sign language to support children to develop their communication and language skills.
Children benefit from fresh air and exercise as staff plan learning experiences outdoors. They learn about the world as staff talk about the changes to the weather. Older children engage in group discussions about the types of clothes needed for outdoor play. They develop independence as they collect their coats and have a go at putting these on themselves.
Our 9 month old son recently started in the baby room and we have been really pleased with how he has settled. The team are fantastic with communication throughout the day and very friendly. A huge thank you to Beth, his key worker, who has such a caring nature and always seems to be engaging the babies in lots of fun activities.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been going here for nearly 1 year and cannot fault the nursery or staff at all. They are all fantastic and our daughter goes in happily every day. The activities she gets to do are always varied as are the meals. We get daily updates about what she eats, naps and nappies and pictures of the different activities she's taking part it. Communication is fantastic and clear. All the staff have been so welcoming and supportive of our daughter. Knowing that she is safe and happy is the best thing you could ask for in a nursery and they absolutely provide this!
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with our experience at this nursery. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s clear they truly care about each child’s development and happiness. The daily activities are so creative and engaging—there’s always something new and exciting for the children to explore. I also have to mention the amazing home-cooked food. It’s not only nutritious but also absolutely delicious (according to our little one, who eats everything there and tends to get seconds and thirds as well). Communication with the nursery is excellent. We receive regular updates, photos, and newsletters, and the staff are always happy to chat at drop-off or pick-up. It really feels like a partnership, and we always know what’s going on in our child’s day. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing and inspiring environment. Highly recommended!
Read on GoogleBoth of my children have attended this nursery and pre school from 10 months old, meaning we have been with the nursery for the last 7 years. They have been amazing, kind and caring. The staff build real bonds with the children. Both of my children have enjoyed going and as a parent I have always felt happy and confident in their care whilst my children were there, which is the reassurance you need as a parent. Both my children left as confident indiviuals ready for big school. Highly recommend this nursery.
