Children arrive at this nursery to a warm welcome from staff who are caring and attentive to their needs. Children's communication and language are supported through lots of conversations during their play. Children develop their gross motor skills well during the day.

How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff carry out the required progress check when children are aged between two and three years. However, not all staff understand the rationale of why this is important and how it is a tool to detect if children need early intervention in the prime areas of learning.
Outdoor space
Children develop their gross motor skills well during the day. For instance, children roll their bodies outside, pretending to be 'worms'. Children explore the bug garden outside, finding insects under pots.
