About this day nursery

Keren's Nursery provides a unique "home away from home" atmosphere across its four London locations in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Belsise Park, Holland Park, and Wimbledon. Since 2004, the day nursery has focused on a family-style approach, nurturing children in a warm, loving, and secure environment.

The philosophy emphasises educating confident, independent children with resilience and self-motivation, while also encouraging them to embrace their unique backgrounds, including their first language and cultural customs. Teachers at Keren's Nursery learn key words in each child's primary language and then model them in English with visual aids, fostering bilingual development.

The curriculum integrates daily outdoor play and Forest School sessions led by Level 3 qualified leaders, promoting independence and creativity. The day nursery also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities such as yoga, zumba, music, and sports, with additional options for woodwork and cookery.

The dedicated teachers participate in a comprehensive, ongoing training and development programme, including the Occupational Therapy-based "Moving Matters" programme. Prospective parents are encouraged to book a tour or visit an open day due to the high demand and long waiting lists.

Before choosing Keren’s, we visited several nurseries in the area, but as soon as we walked in, we felt it was the right place. At that moment, we didn’t realise how happy we would be with our choice. Our son was very attached to us, and I was worried about the settling-in period. The teachers and managers were so kind and supportive that now Keren’s is his favourite place. I get daily updates about what he is doing, learning, and how he is feeling, which is very reassuring. The activities are varied and well planned: music, art, shapes, colours and numbers, yoga, cooking, and many others. Everyone at Keren’s, including teachers, managers and all staff, are friendly, caring and professional. We are very happy with Keren’s and truly grateful for everything they do. It is a safe, welcoming and inspiring place for any child.

A really wonderful nursery that has provided excellent and loving care to our toddler. He's grown immensely over the last year, and much of it is with big thanks to the wonderful staff who provide a loving, fun and enriching environment for the children. We couldn't be happier with our decision to send our child to this nursery!

Keren’s is a wonderful choice for young children in a warm and nurturing environment. Our daughter runs in there every morning and we struggle to get her to leave in the afternoon! We’ve loved our time there and would recommend to anyone looking for an educational home away from home :)

Best nursery in Belsize Park, hands down! We’ve visited a huge number of nurseries before deciding on Keren’s. Our kid has now finished his first year (he is 3), and he’s loved his time there! He gets incredible care from the teachers, the educational program is varied and engaging and the parental group is wonderful! Couldn’t ask for a better place!

We love Keren’s. The nursery has a wonderful vibe, I know the kids are very well looked after, fed healthy food, etc. But more than that, the whole staff really goes above and beyond to foster a great environment for the kids, with special programs and trips that are stimulating and fun and educational. Very happy about our choice.
