Both my children attended Nippers from 12 months of age and I wholeheartedly recommend the setting. Both kids had fun, made strong friendships with other Nippers, made many happy memories & received the very best of early years education. The family socials are a fantastic addition and a great way to meet other families (a life saver if you are new to the area). The nurturing care provided by the enthusiastic and happy staff team is excellent. The food is great and varied with the benefit of a proper tea served later in the day (rather than just a snack). Nippers also have a wonderful magical knack for getting all their kids school ready.
Read on GoogleOur daughter started nursery at Nippers around a year ago. Since then she's absolutely loved it and is developing quickly from being around all the other children and having her days filled with activities and stimulation. The facilities and staff are fantastic and you can tell they really care about the children. Picking the right nursery can be stressful, so we'd highly recommend Nippers to anyone.
Read on GoogleMy son has attended Nippers for two years and absolutely loves it. He joined in the baby room at 11months settling very quickly into his new routine. He has progressed happily through and his day is jam packed full with a wide range of fun activities. I particularly love the variety of rooms to play in, the dance studio and wet room are favorites. Nippers have a great outside play area with children playing out all year round. My son has a great group of friends and is extremely happy at Nippers we could not have wished for a more caring, educational and fun nursery for him to attend.
Read on GoogleWhen we were moving to the area 3.5 years ago we looked around about half a dozen nurseries for our son. When we visited Nippers we just knew it was the one we wanted him to go to and when our second son was born we made sure he had his name down straight away! Almost all of the staff there now were there when our older son first started at Nippers - they all know us, know both our sons, are kind, helpful and we are always made to feel very welcome. The children play outside EVERY day - full waterproofs and wellies for splashy days and snow. There always seems to be a choice of messy play, baking, soft play, role-play craft activities as well as a huge range of lovely toys and preparation for going to school. My little boy is so proud to show us what he has made! The food at Nippers is fantastic! Everything is home-made, locally sourced where possible and delicious! We've been to many social events at Nippers - weekend and after nursery events with the children (Hot Cross Bun Sunday, Bonfire Party, Jubilee party and many more) as well as evening events for the grown ups (Christmas shopping evening, a fantastic Italian evening with a 3 course meal) and lots of 'stay and play' sessions. Both our boys settled into Nippers very quickly, have made some lovely friends and we have too through all the extra events. I cannot recommend Nippers highly enough. Before we moved to the area we thought our son's previous nursery was good. It wasn't a patch on Nippers!
Read on GoogleI have been using Nippers nursery for over five years for both of my daughters. The nursery has never faltered in its care of my children and others. It allows the children to explore their independence and their growing world in a unique way. It is one of the most creative and inspiring settings I have seen, and there is always something afoot somewhere, be it a play wedding, building a spiders web, or baking. Which brings me on to the food.... the smells coming from the kitchen are truly wonderful, and most days I want to stay for lunch as I smell it being prepared as I drop off. The staff are always fun, supportive and caring towards the kids, energy and enthusiasm always high, and the children feel that. The management team Julie and Carolyn are truly fantastic in terms of their support of the staff, the children and the parents. I have personally been so very supported through a very challenging time, which has helped enormously. Always there to answer questions, help in any way they can. Above and beyond the call of duty many times. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.
