About this day nursery

Safari Kindergarten, which opened in 2019, provides outstanding care and education for children aged 0–11 years. Operating all year round from 7:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, the nursery is a friendly and welcoming setting where children are safe and happy, sharing strong bonds with staff, as noted in their "Good" Ofsted report from August 2022.

The dedicated staff greet children warmly, and parents feel confident in the care and attention their children receive. The nursery enriches children's learning with visits from specialist teachers, adding depth to their educational experiences.

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported by a dedicated staff member who works with external agencies to ensure children receive the necessary care, and funding is used effectively to achieve the best outcomes. Staff also ensure they count children as they move between outdoor and indoor areas, using a system of scarves to ensure all children are accounted for during transitions.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on a curriculum that covers all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, with staff thoughtfully planning activities that build on children's existing knowledge and skills. Parents have access to an online learning diary, providing them with ideas for home learning and fostering a strong partnership between home and nursery.

My 3 year old and 2 Year old go to Bright Stars. Since attending their social and number skills have increased dramatically and love spending their time at nursery. There is a clear bond between my children and their key workers and all the staff at the nursery. All the kids their seem well behaved and friendly and always interact with parents during pick up time. I would recomend the nursery to any friends i know.
