My son has such a good experience at forest school every Saturday we just had to book on to the foraging class as a whole family! The foraging was fun and informal. Great to meet others and share a foraged meal together. Highly recommend! Suitable for all levels.

Within the Wood, owned by Joe and Imi, is a fantastic forest school. There love for the outdoors create a perfect environment for children thrive. Our son loves going. Highly recommended!

Had a joint birthday party for my 9 and 12 year olds. 13 mixed aged children sliding, hunting, hiding, zip-lining, playing, firing arrows, toasting marshmallows and generally having a blast for two outdoor hours of fun and games. I can’t recommend Joe and Within The Wood highly enough. Totally on the right level with the children, sets clear boundaries within which the children are free to do as they choose and a relaxed manner which belies the hard work put in to make the experience an engaging one for everyone there. 10/10 We will be back 😊 🤩 😎 👏

Within the wood is absolutely amazing!! Joe and all the staff are brilliant, friendly, approachable and absolutely amazing role models. Both of my children (8 and 6 years) adore going every week and ask everyday when they are next going. They have learnt so much from archery to axe throwing to plant identification. They love being able to cook with what they have foraged and always come home full of memories (and full of mud!). I would 100% recommend this group to anyone!

Harry had his 5th birthday here and absolutely loved it, Joe is brilliant with the children keeping them safe but allowing them the freedom to be 'proper kids' Loads of activities to suit their age, Joe's enthusiasm is infectious, all in all a fabulous party what ever the weather they will have a brilliant time. book it you won't regret it!!
